I like CS because It's really nice to meet people from countries I don't know. These experiences changes from your habits and routine,when you welcome someone It is very interesting to discover about culture, customs history, languages and so on. So you can travel a little bit from home :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had some experiences on CS. All of them were positive. I did not use it since 3 years (I don't really know why but I have been traveling in Australia since that time) but now I try to use it back.
