I am a 20 year old Scottish-Italian Law student from Glasgow, Scotland currently living in Copenhagen, Denmark on an Erasmus year. I am outgoing, friendly and adventurous; with a keen interest in both my studies in law but also in architecture, art, languages, food and travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Living in Copenhagen isn't cheap, and my desire to travel never stops. Ultimately, I think that you only really get to experience a city properly when you are with locals. Finding out the 'hidden gems' that guidebooks simply cannot offer.

Interests

Presently, in my free time I enjoy reading and people watching from one of Copenhagen's many cafes. Also my flatmate and I both enjoy showing off our cooking abilities, often resulting in competition at meal times. I am an avid skier and try to dabble in some amateur photography.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently reading Notes from an Underground by Dostoevsky as I have only heard good things about it. I would say my favourite book is either The Catcher in the Rye, The Stranger or American Psycho. My favourite movie of recent times is La Grande Bellezza. I am a fan of electronic and techno music, from artists such as Mount Kimbie to Dixon, James Blake and Motor City Drum Ensemble.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world (5,895m), in June 2013.
