About Me
Hi everybody,
Here is Mary and Mo! Nice to meet you :-)
Me, Mary, I come from Poland but lived my adult life in Germany or on the road. I studied musicology, I'm a drawing and tattoo artist.
I live and travel with my partner Moritz. He's with me on the profile picture together with our bicycles.
Mo comes from Germany and by now visited over 110 countries. He's a geographer and soil scientist.
We cycled together across Europe, North and South America, Africa and some places in Asia. I think we will keep on going since this gives us a good challenge, fun and keeps us healthy.
We love learning and practicing languages and enjoy every little opportunity to use it in real life. What would be travelling without trying to understand one another? Challenge me with Spanish and Japanese and try Mo's French. If that doesn't work, we're happy to speak English or German or Polish :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I host and surf since 2007, that's already more than a decade of experience with sharing my lifestyle and couch with others. And I still enjoy being a host and a guest.
I was a host in Poznań and my hometown Tychy in Poland. I also hosted in Dresden, Germany where I was living for a few years.
Lately, I put more heart to the warmshowers community as I am cycling around the world with my boyfriend Mo.
I surfed all around european countries, the Middle East, South Asia, South-East Asia and in Africa.
My favourite CS friendly countries are so far Romania and Jordan :)
Interests
I studied music and enjoying the company of musicians. I often travel with an ukulele and know a few songs.
I'm drawing a lot and sometimes I post some sketches here on FB: www.fb.com/ten.komiks
I published an art-book "Sketchbook from the Middle East" in 2016 and it's about my first big journey to some countries of the Middle East. Travelling is my main source of inspiration and the greatest art university.
