HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I CANNOT host you from December to March.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

fantastic and real.
I've seen a bit of odd experiences and that perhaps makes me come to say that CS is mostly about traveling and the interest of traveler should be centered upon the place. I am starting to believe that there is an unnecessary deviation from what is essentially travelling by watching CS profiles having secret codes, passwords that are needed to be mentioned in the couch requests. I believe that it's not about the host but about the place. Of course travelers are expected to respect the couch and rules but not everyone does. It's easy to imagine that there are careless CS surfers who just want a place to stay at, as an alternative to spending money to sleep : nevertheless, I'm surprised with careless hosts that totally redefine the value of traveling by emphasizing a lot about themselves, their couch or the couch rules and requests etc., making
the essence and the beauty of traveling questionable.
