About Me

CURRENT MISSION

do what you love

ABOUT ME

I'm a 36 year old female who moved and travelled around Canada a lot - born in BC, but lived mostly in Ontario, now in Quebec. I have a dog named Chorizzo from Argentina. I'm a great cook. I also sew and make clothes. I love maps and exploring. I like to hang out in the park with my dog, go for picnics on my bike, listen to really good music, BBQ, drink beer in the sunshine... basic stuff right?

PHILOSOPHY

Do what you love everyday, and never work again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would tell you if I met any jerks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went wwoofing in Spain and Ireland in 2007 and it was the best experience of my life! I heard about couchsurfing from friends when I was in England and tried to find a place in London before I went to Ireland but there was not enough time. I have hosted a couple couchsurfers, all good experiences so far!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Converted an old school bus to run on veggie oil and built 8 bunks inside it and took it across Canada with a group of friends and our soundsystem recycling grease from the back of restaurants and explaining to everyone (and every cop that pulled us over) how it worked, while setting up the rig every chance we could.

Teach, Learn, Share

sewing, screen printing, Canadian Bacon, "Best Shepherds Pie in North America!", container gardening, veggie oil diesel engine conversion, web stuff like css/php/xhtml, free parties and VJ/video mixing.

Countries I’ve Visited
