Hello! My name is Fuko, and my nickname is “Kon-chan” (こんちゃん).
I currently live in Kobe, Japan. I’m originally from Miyagi, and I have lived in Tokyo too while I was working in my 20s.

My husband and I have been doing Airbnb host for more than 8 years now.
We have always enjoyed spending time with our guests, so I decided to start couch surfing too to meet more people from around the world:)

I have lived in Ireland for a year for working holiday and I experienced WWOOF there. When I was in university I travelled to Europe, China, and some of the South Asian countries.
All my life I always love to travel, and definitely I want to do more!

As we have a little son who is going to be 2years-old this spring, it’s a bit difficult for us to travel abroad.
So I’m hoping we can meet many people and make lots of friends here :)

We especially love cooking with our guests because we believe that cooking together and sharing food is the best way to get to know each other.
I’m hosting Japanese food cooking class at home, so let me know if you are interested!

Also we can invite you to the tatami factory tour and mini-tatami making workshops.
My husband’s family owns Tatami mat factory and have been running the business for more than 70 years.
