About me:

Hi, I’m here!
My name is Fuming, which means “happiness and brightness.” I’m originally from China, and I’m Deaf. I can communicate in Italian, Italian Sign Language, International Sign, and English. While I can speak Italian fluently, I prefer to use sign language because it’s easier and more fun. However, all forms of communication are welcome!

I’m a bit shy but very friendly and affectionate. 🥰
I was born in China and moved to Italy when I was about 4 years old. I’ve grown up Italian, and now I’m in Berlin as part of the European Solidarity Corps.

I’ve been vegetarian for 6 years and I’m working towards being fully vegan. I only eat and cook vegetarian food with the goal of helping the planet and improving health. 💪 I’m passionate about discussing topics like LGBTQIA+ issues, BIPOC representation, the Deaf community, languages, travel, and media. I’m always open to adding new and interesting themes to the conversation—I hope I don’t bore you! 😂

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

An incredible thing that happened to me. I bought round-trip flight tickets and was so excited to leave for Kyiv (Ukraine). I was nervous but happy, with my suitcase already packed for the trip the next day.

However, later that evening, I received a notification from Ryanair that left me disappointed, yet somewhat relieved: I couldn’t travel to Kyiv due to the outbreak of the war. Luckily, I stayed safe!

The very next day, the real war began. I’m sad about the situation, but amazingly, I had only paid 2 euros in total for the tickets!
