About Me
I was away from CS for a while which is why my response rate is very low. But now I am here and answering every message :)
Gospeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel !! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIe6obMgu6g
Instagram : itssideways
Apart from that, I'm a tree hugger and... a Human hugger :D
I love hugging.... And that's basically all that you need to know :D but if you want to know more, read further.
I am a calm and peaceful person, but I don't forget humor along the way.
I adoooore creating (I create websites, board games, write essays etc.) and have this inner urge to never do stuff the way it is usually done. It's beyond my control :P
I'm highly interested in every way to improve people's lives :)
When another person is kind enough to host me at his/her place, I spend my time laying on the sofa, watching TV really loud and insulting the referee of the match, drinking beer and belching all day long, throwing the empty cans behind my shoulders, eating everything out of the fridge and making irreversible stains on every possible piece of tissue (and even on the pet / the neighbours if they meet my way).
You're welcome.
**IMPORTANT NOTE** Well, of course I am kidding (apparently it needs to be made clear as some people tend to get afraid reading this ahah). Of course I always respect the rules of the house, that is normal to me. Your house, your rules.
I don't drink alcohol yet I have lots of fun when partying.
I'm not gay (thought I would just mention as I sometimes receive messages from men with innuendos ahah) but I am definitely gay-friendly and think we should all just work towards a more tolerant society... And there are lots to do to reach that goal :)
Also, I am both ENFP and INFP, depending on when I take the test... If that feels like Mandarin to you, go ahead and take the personality test yourself it's quite enlightening : https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test
Have fun :)
I also highly recommend this one as it is enlightening biochemistry-wise : https://www.bravermantest.com/ (do at least the 1st part)
I have an acetylcholine nature, so if you are as well, odds are we are going to get along well. But come as you are and we'll figure something out :D
I've sometimes hosted people at my apartment for more than 1 month, but right now my place is too small for that, unfortunately.
Please note :
- I'm receiving from 5 to 10 couchsurfing requests every day,
- so all CSers who send non personalized requests ("I want to meet you because...") will be publicly beheaded, like Louis XVI (what do you want, I'm French so beheading runs deep in my genes it's... Beyond my control ; extra points for you if you get the reference ^^). In my opinion Couchsurfing is about meeting the other and sharing something special with that person ;-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Awesome experiences, which give you more trust in humanity :)
I've met lots of simple people, who do not brag much (usually they are the most clever ones), and who can communicate freely as well as "read" in others' behaviour. "Social intelligence" actually :)
Interests
I love life-hacking, bio-hacking and every piece of knowledge which can be applied to better humans' lives (and animals' and plants').
If you speak Biochemistry (or Nerdy) I could listen to you for hours, drooling... Well, if you speak English it's ok, too :)
Me also loves :
- Boardgames : a true passion, especially the cooperation ones, my goal being to play as many different games as I can (right now the count is at 254 :))
- Lolcats : icanhazcheeseburger.com should be part of schools' programs if you ask me... Graphjam is also "100%" brilliant !
- Taking care of oneself and others : eating well, healthy lifestyle, ecological and humanitarian actions, or simply being nice, yes yes it wurks ;-)
- Improving, becoming a better version of oneself, a.k.a "spirituality" - I am not "religious" yet I respect people who are and what they believe in :) For me open-mindedness is the key, and I wish that one day spiritual, scientist, and religious people will be able to sit around a table and finally understand that they are all essentially talking about the godamn same thing.
- Meditation, psychology
- Search Engine Optimization and webmarketing (which I used to practice as a freelance, for a living)
- Role playing games
- Terry Pratchett writings
- Writing essays / novels / stuff
- Nonsensical humor (keep a straight face ! ^^)
- Neurology, immunology (you know these things ending with -gy are like shiny objects to me, like a cat with a laser pointer)
- Randomly breaking the ice in public places,
- D.A.N.C.I.N.G (if they play hip-hop, this podium has ma' name on it)
- other cultures (would adore to discover more about the Asian ones, and if you are German, Romanian, Portuguese or Mexican you earn extra-points, I love you already ^^),
- Electronic Dance Music, glitch hop , ghetto funk,
- Badminton, table tennis,
- Decorating stuff, with stuff (and stuff)
- Acting, improvisation theatre...
- If I believe what my friends say, I'm interested in everything... :D I studied many things when at the university : philosophy (got a 4 years degree), sociology (3 years degree), computer and information science (4 years degree), English litterature (2 years degree), communication and media studies (5 years degree). I graduated in these both at a time ("double-cursus") and I encourage to do the same : because it's not that hard, and because it's fun :)
- So bottom line is I'm probably gonna be interested in what you're interested in ahah
- animals

Music, Movies, and Books
- Ghetto funk, glitch hop, dubstep, pop-rock music, pop-punk, ska-rock, disco, funk mainly, but not only. Dig that : Featurecast, the FatRat, Cash Cash, Archie, Fox Stevenson, Krewella, Kevin Drew, Razihel, Rogue, Pegboard Nerds, Matchbox 20, The Hippos, Bowling for Soup, Less Than Jake, A Rocket to the Moon, Fox Stevenson, P!nk, Beat Fatigue, Owl City, Fareoh, The Chainsmokers, Syn Cole, Tobu, Zedd...
- Comedy movies, especially the crazy ones like The Onion (a must see, if you haven't seen it), Dodgeball, Mystery Men, Going Postal, Hot Fuzz, etc.)
- Philosophy books : ethics, epistemology (I love Karl Popper), Leibniz being my favorite metaphysical philosopher... ("Lei" is not my real last name but a small ytribute to him ;-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- I do things backwards : I go to the Sahara in August, I snowboard in the desert, and then I travel to Nordic countries in winter :D :D At this rate I'll probably stay on Earth alone when everybody else migrate to Mars. But at least I'll have space. Space is good.
- I managed to sing cheerfully while undergoing a dreadful crisis of chronic pain and fatigue :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIe6obMgu6g
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlE7pIM4m8k
- I love food soooooooooo much it's not uncommon for me to bring it with me everywhere I go, for instance last trip I traveled with 3kgs of homemade peanut butter (I got my inspiration there : How To Travel With A Salmon: and Other Essays https://g.co/kgs/Szj52a :D )
- I received a national award called The Outstanding Young Persons of the world award (TOYP). Incidentally, I also got 8 other awards for my work in charity / startups :)
- When I was a child I went to the psychologist to take an IQ test. We will never know what exact IQ I got, because the psychologist stopped adding up the scores from each sub-test after reaching the "genius range". I think the psychologist was a bit scared... Because she was my mother (she's a certified counselor), and she told me she just wanted to confirm her hunch that I was "different".
I like this part of mystery and think it's a cute story :)
- meeting awesome people is already an extraordinary experience... I'm trying to give back as much as these people give me!
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're passionate about something, odds are I'm going to be interested in learning from you !
I like to share about nutrition and healthy living, and right now my will is to help people live the life of their dreams and be happy, so I'm sure we will find a way to improve your life in some way, if you want to :)
To your success !!
I've practiced lots of healing techniques, for body and soul, ranging from old forms of auto-hypnosis, Qi-Gong, yoga mantras and mudras, to visualization ones (ZenSight, anchoring...). EFT, New Energy Ways, etc. But now I focus mainly on reprogramming the subconscious through altered states of consciousness :)
I also developped my own healing technique which I practice on animals, free of charge (->it's like Reiki but it's not Reiki).
I can also help you practice your French, or teach you how to do the French accent when you speak English. Harder than it seems really. But extremely satisfactory when you get it right, it's like a super power you're unstoppable (actually nobody stops you because nobody understands you in the first place)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Positiveness :) :)
I believe the world would be a much better place if people started saying out loud all the good stuff they think about others.
If you want to stay at my place, be welcome ! But depending on the days I may not have all the time I would like to have to show you around, as I have a big project to work on, so you will need to be independent enough :)
I've sometimes hosted people at my apartment for more than 1 month, and it was a pleasant experience :)
As a final note, I just have one statement :
We are all One.
