ABOUT ME

Though I study Mathematics and Statistics, this does not imply that I am a logical person but sometimes I will be driven mad by myself (not because of maths). I also study some anthropology and linguistics. Again, this does not mean my language skill is very good but this suggests that I love human culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My last living place was in Göteborg in Sweden. At that time, I had a mattress for couchsurfers.

In Hong Kong, I live with my family and the place is really small. So it is not really possible to stay in my place. But I can hang out with you and travel around Hong Kong, the place I have been living for more than 20 years :)

I like to share and listen to personal experiences. So I hope I can have a chance to chat with my guests/hosts. If I have time, I can also cook for my guests/hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I always look forward to having more couchsurfing experience!!

My first surfing experience was in Oslo. I had stayed there for 2 nights. My host is so nice! He brought me to the city and introduced a lots about the city to me! It is really a good memory! In return, I cooked some Chinese dishes for him.

My first hosting experience was in Gothenburg. There were two German guys spending 10 days travelling in Scandinavia and I hosted them for 1 night. Unfortunately I had to study for my exam because I had it just the next day. So I couldn't go out with them but we still had a nice chat after they came back from traveling in the city.

Interests

Listening to music, cooking, travelling, photography, human culture things... Actually I am finding my interests. But the most important thing is to do whatever I like at the present I am living.

Music, Movies, and Books

I didn't watch many movies but I will try to watch more.
I like listening to folk songs, pop songs, boys choirs.
I don't like reading sophisticated books...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Sweden, I thought my leaving my hometown where I have lived for more than 20 years is already an amazing thing I have done.

But now, maybe, having taken the train through Siberia? Or seen northern light? Or been to all Nordic countries? Traveled alone from Sweden through eastern Europe, Siberia, Mongolia, all the way back to Hong Kong? I am not sure.

I start learning cooking after I came to Sweden. Sometimes I can cook quite well

I do also love to listen to others' experience! I am excited to know different things from others' angles!
