About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To do yoga on every continent of the world.
ABOUT ME
I grew up on the countryside of Bavaria, but my heart belongs to Berlin. I love to live in this city that never sleeps and to be surrounded by people who have a high scale of tolerance and openness. I love to eat and i love to sleep, but the time i spend with other things must be very actively used.
Yoga in all its forms and with all the surrounding aspects like mindfulness, meditation, healthy food and a sustainable lifestyle has become a big part of my life and my routine, I even have a little blog about it.
I love going to cultural events like theater, concerts or lectures, I love movies and my favourite hobby is to spend time with my friends, preferably in the sun. Besides that, my perfect weekend would contain big breakfasts, going to the sauna and a day (yes, day, because - Berlin!) dancing at a club.
Another place that has majorly influenced me as a person is NYC, where I have spent a few months. I try to make it back there once a year- haven't been since 2013, but working on it!
PHILOSOPHY
Don't try to force anything in life but think and try to find creative solutions - and everything is going to turn out ok.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the idea of cultural exchange and learning from each other, so, I try to contribute in offering my couch in Berlin and my perspective towards the city, the country, life in general, ... :-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
in general I always enjoy travelling most when I have somebody to show me around. I surfed and hosted a few times, always great experiences.
For example: I posted that I wanted to learn sewing and a surfer actually spent several hours with me to teach me even though she could have done so many other things that evening. ... by now i am able to sew lots of clothes. I might even bring some on my next trip!

Music, Movies, and Books
My OCD keeps me from filling this one in. I will never be able to write them all down in a perfectly organized system, so I'll rather not start.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I slept on a roof in D.C. and enjoyed a memorable sunrise.
In 2005, I organized a convention for 800 bavarian school students who try to change the school system, make it more democratic etc. - the most amazing moment is when you stand on the stage and see that the months of work and the sleeplessness were worth it!
Teach, Learn, Share
As I worked for four years as a guide for an educational program for young professionals and students in Berlin, I have assembled some experience in showing people around. My knowledge focuses on Jewish history and culture in Berlin.
I guess I could teach you some yoga basics, too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Yoga, yoga. I can teach you German, how to make German food and how to get into Berghain when you come to visit Berlin next time.
