ABOUT ME

I am an outdoors man! If I am outside, I am happy. I am currently trying to get a job wildland firefighting and plan to move out west as soon as possible. In the past 4 years, I have hiked over 6,000 miles. I hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2004, half of the PCT in 2006, and the CDT in 2007. I love hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, mountaineering, mountain boarding, sleeping under the stars, and sleeping in under the stars!

I have slept on sooo many couches on my travels, so many complete strangers have invited me in. So many kind people. I am in full support of this website and the idea of being able to travel cheaply.

Snowboarding, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, Edward Abbey, Hiking, long distance backpacking, beer, meeting people who are very passionate about something, just being outside makes me feel good.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The most amazing thing I have ever done was hike through the Sierra Nevadas during snowmelt. It was probably the most amazing thing I have ever seen as well.
