CURRENT MISSION

I will be in Europe for a relatively short time, Hungary August 20 until the 31st. After that I will be visiting Berlin and then performing a House Concert September 6. I hope to find some more places to to play in either Germany or The Netherlands. Got any ideas!
I am a Singer/Songwriter/guitarist looking to enrich future journeys getting to know how other people live while seeking some comfort while on the road.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Casper, Wyoming a bunch of years ago. I started playing guitar at age 12 (Hendrix was my "gateway" influence"). I taught myself to play and began writing songs as a teenager which helped me get through my teen angst and continues to chronicle my dreams, desires, triumphs and disappointments as an adult.

I began wanting to 'see the world' when I was very young. That desire has never wavered and I believe my future includes the fulfillment of that dream but it will be realized as a touring music artist and educator.

I am traveling this time to meet the family and friends of my new wife in Hungary. I believe it will be fun to perform solo in Europe to follow through on spreading both my music and a positive message - to live to the utmost of one's abilities, to love and to lead by example.

In early 2011 I toured for one month without many gigs planned and to set the table for this upcoming tour and the inevitable adventure that takes place when traveling far away from home. I am finally pursuing my touring career after many years of preparation, helping to raise a son and with self-doubt finally quelled. There is no time to question any more.

My latest album is titled "Expose Your Self". The songs are full of messages about getting the most out of life, love(which I hadn't written much about before), forgiveness, family(acknowledging my own fortune). It always been a welcomed challenge once I stepped on to this musical path. I continue because I believe it the right thing to do, for me and those who know what I bring to the table as an artist.

Last year was better than the year before and I am so excited to kick it up another notch with broadening my reach and making friends along the way. I understand deeply that this is the best part of life: having and nurturing relationships! I live by Mark Twain's quote: "A man should so live his life that upon his passing even the undertaker will feel sad."...or something like that! haha!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking for friends in many places that like to meet and share a slice of life with traveler's who are on the road. If it will please you I will enjoy filling your home with music and laughter and clean up after myself (and you, in some cases).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience CouchSurfing was unbelievable. I received a wonderful perspective of people in France, The Netherlands, Germany, Scotland and England that I would not have had staying in hotels. I loved how virtually all of my previous hosts used sitting at a table and eating food as the way to break the ice. Food and music are major ways people come together.

I love to perform music for my hosts! If you like live music, especially guitar-based American Blues, Rock, Funk delivered with sincerity and passion I hope to be your guest someday!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I saw my son Zach(now 23) being born and now he is out in the world with a shared passion for music. This may not be amazing for all but I am still feeling the significance of raising a baby and child.

I want to discover more possibilities on the road.
