ABOUT ME
Hello, world :-)My name's Tony and I live in Würzburg, a nice city in Bavaria/Germany. I was born in Novosibirsk/Russia though.Currently I'm studying to become a music teacher, with piano as my main instrument. I also play electric guitar in some band (Rock'n'Roll, baby ;-)) and try to sing occasionally...I love meeting all kinds of people, talking about various things, exchanging opinions and experiences, ... or just having fun and enjoying life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experience was in Rome in the summer of 2009. Since then I've surfed couches in Poland and Germany and hosted surfers from Poland, South Korea, Scotland, Hong Kong and Germany.Never had a bad experience - it just keeps getting better!
Interests
Since I'm a music student, I enjoy everything connected to this wonderful art: Listening to music, playing music (of course!), and yes, even talking about it ;-)Apart from watching movies, reading books, meeting friends and travelling (surfing couches...) and really enjoy practicing martial arts, Wing Chun in my case.I'm also interested in foreign languages and cultures! So everytime I travel somewhere, I also try to learn some words and expressions...

Music, Movies, and Books
Being a music student, I actually enjoy (almost) all kinds of music! But anyway, here's a list of some of my favourite artists: Pink Floyd (best band ever ;-)), Porcupine Tree, Gotthard, Eva Cassidy, Queen, The Beatles, Anna Maria Jopek, Incognito, Chick Corea, Joni Mitchell, Laura Nyro, Alan Parsons Project, ...I also love watching all kinds of movies. My favourites: A Few Good Men, Sin City, Se7en, the old Pink Panther and James Bond movies, Robin and the Seven Hoods, Murder By Death, Breakfast at Tiffany's, I could go on and on ...Unfortunately I don't have much time to read books recently, but here are some I really enjoyed reading: Max Frisch's "Homo Faber", Robert A. Heinlein's books, The Count of Monte Christo, Kafka's "Der Prozess", ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My very first couchsurfing experience was definately a night to remember! We stayed at a girl's place near the center of Rome and ended up spending the night on the roof, sleeping under the stars and having a perfect view on St. Peter's Cathedral while watching the sun rise! Unfortunately the landlord's rabbit was living on that roof, and all night long it tried to eat parts of our sleeping bags...
