I'm Billy Procida. If you Google me and find an old guy in a suit, that's my dad.

I'm a New York City based comic living the dream of being poor and disappointing my father.

I used CS when I went on a two month comedy tour a couple of years ago and many have shown kindness to put me up while I was in town. I'm finally in a position where I can return the favor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used CouchSurfing for nearly two months straight and surfed from Tacoma, Washington to San Francisco, to Texas. I also used it in recently when I did a comedy festival in Grand Rapids, MI.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One time I spent a night on a bench in Washington Square Park when I didn't have a place to sleep that night. I learned not to do that.

Summer of 2011 I drove around the country for 2 months doing stand up. I used CS for most of my accommodation and they were all amazing experiences. Shout out to my hosts in Tacoma, WA; San Francisco; Portland; Tucson, AZ; Odessa, TX; Dallas, TX!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a car flip midair 25 feet from my car on the highway. Luckily, none of my chicken was spilled when I stopped short. That could have been tragic.
