Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm currently living in Nashville, TN, but I travel for work all the time. I've been a nationally touring stand-up comic for over 10 years, and have been paid to act and sing. I'm expanding my work to include Inspirational/Motivational Speaking, and I also practice Reconnective Healing--an awesome, life-changing, evolution-speeding, energy healing modality. Several times a year, I also assist highly trained psychologists in emotional healing weekend workshops in Asheville, NC and Orlando, FL. I love my life, and I'm so grateful this site exists! Working the road as a comedian, I spent far too many nights in my car because I had no idea there were people all over the place who would've let me stay on their couches! Thank you for being stellar human beings. Let's help eachother and continue to make the world a better, more fun and loving place!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Most of the time, I'm here to surf others' couches, and find good people with whom I can stay during my travels; and hopefully, occasionally, return the favor in the times that I am home by providing my very own comfy couch and a warm, inviting environment.
Interests
Creative pursuits of almost every kind! I work hard to make the work I do the work I love. I guess it's made me something of a workaholic, but it feels like a good life so far. I love performing and making people laugh; I love assisting people in their healings; I love to take walks and be in nature, especially with friends...I love to make new friends and enjoy time with old ones. I love to sing, and will do it as loudly and as often as I can without fear of public annoyance.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love upbeat rock 'n' roll, R&B, soulful singers with whom I can sing along, some Rap & Hip-Hop, and all things strong female jamz...but not so much Country.
I dig comedy, thought-provoking and inspiring docs, and movies that are uplifting but not cheesy...unless they're cheesy on purpose, that's sometimes fun, too. I used to like the Horror genre, but only occasionally watch psychological thrillers now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ummm...I've performed in Carnegie Hall. Does that count?
And I know it says ONE Amazing thing, but I lived in London, England for 4 months in 2003, and I thought that was pretty amazing.
Oh, and I've dropped over 200 lbs. --no surgery or anything, just A LOT of life changing and healing. <3
Teach, Learn, Share
Yes. Yes. YES.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Other than a general pleasant demeanor? I'm clean, quiet, fun and deep if you want to hang out and talk; and I also practice Reconnective Healing, do Zen Tarot readings, and can cook my butt off! I'm willing to share any and all of that with Hosts. :)
