Right now I am taking a break from school to work and have time to do things that aren't assignments. I love music and art, but also spend a lot of time reading. I want to go to graduate school and work with international environmental efforts to try to help nations that are developing do so in a sustainable way. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed a little in England this spring with wonderful experience. Unfortunately my living situation makes hosting difficult but I would absolutely love to meet up with anyone traveling through Urbana and show you all it has to offer. With any luck I will be able to host soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

harvey, all time favorite movie. followed closely by tim burton films.
music is tough, there is so much. sigur ros, tv on the radio, the cure, the clash, ghostland observatory, k-os, wire, eits, white stripes, the bird and the bee...
books are tough too. I'm on a big environmental kick right now, but i really like good fiction and science fiction too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I cook well, but almost entirely vegan. I am skilled in the ways of yoga and coached gymnastics for years. This is not especially helpful unless you've been dying to learn a forward roll.
I'd love to learn more languages (even a few words!) or any handy/crafty skills.
