ABOUT ME

My biggest passion is traveling, so I spent 27 months in 14 Asian countries and 3 years in 39 countries, mostly around Africa, always on my old, small motorbike (Honda XR 250). My website is at: http://madnomad.gr

I love adventure and nature in every form but especially the mountains! We decided with my girlfriend to spend this winter in a remote mountainous village of Greece, called Pades. We are at 1,150 m. (3,773 ft.) altitude. It's cold but really beautiful!

I love meeting different people and learning about their culture. That's one of the most important reasons I travel!

Don't watch life in television. Don't read it in books. Stand up and live it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been informed about CS during my trip in Asia. So, I started as a guest. I hosted many people when I was back to Greece and I still try to host as many as possible when I settle somewhere!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: La vita e bella, Le grand blue, Amelie, Green mile, Chocolat, Motorcycle diaries... and many documentaries.

Music: I love music and I listen almost everything with a special desire about rock and similar kinds.

Books: I prefer writing than reading. A poet I love is a Greek sailor called "Kavadias".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most amazing dream I have realized was my adventure in Asia! I started for a 10-month trip by my small motorcycle from Greece to India visiting 4 countries. Finally, I returned to Greece after 2 years and 2.5 months, after visiting 14 countries... Well, the plans are just to forget them!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't like to learn or teach just information. I think the most important thing we have to learn or teach is our way of life. So, everyone can see our world from different points of view and then he can build his own way of life and make himself (and the people around him) happy!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can definitely share my stories from the road! I have plenty of pictures and hours of videos!

I may be able to repair things, if you have something broken... I love mechanics and I know some stuff about computers.
