Couchsurfing is kind of realization of globalization or embodiement of moving openminded travellers and hosts.. Who would want to be placed himself out of this interesting community? I dont see this site as a tool for finding a place to stay however nobody rejects sharing time with a empathetic host in a calm room.
Through couch, we may have a chance to share the place that we are located ourself in the world with others to see their reactions, their comments, their views; learn about differential places and activities from directly local people or have an interesting speech on our own countries, people or any topic occupying our agenda. I believe, thats greaaat and awesome opportunity :)
