ABOUT ME

I am a positive thinking and calm person. I like traveling, hiking and climbing, cross country skiing as well as many other outdoor activities. I'm open minded and like to meet and visit friends all over the world.

I am somehow addicted to Computers, like to install systems, tryout new software programs and I am working with Ubuntu (also because I like the Ubuntu philosophy) on my Laptop since years now ...

I enjoyed life as student for a long period, started working for an IT company as project office and IT-Consultant, but after 5 years I had enough and changed to the public administration and do statistics on the labor market, something I like for the moment, because you never know what the future brings into your life ...

PHILOSOPHY

Always keep some positive thinking, and keep in mind that every day is a new day and everything you do to another person will come back to you some time - so try to be polite and do not judge persons to early ...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I use and give to CS. I like the community, philosophy and system behind CS, participating to some great CS events, if it is in the small city of Bolzano or the big city of SF is always great and opens your mind to another view and thinking by meeting nice persons.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great experiences as well as people that only want to use the system for cheap accommodation without any interest of exchange. Somehow like in real life ... when it comes to meet new persons ...

Music, Movies, and Books

There are many movies and music I like. I do not like books so much, except travel guides, which I have many.
I like Wim Wenders (director) and I'm also a fan of Bollywood indian movies, moreover I have seen all episodes of X-Files (in german and in english) which I was addicted to some time ago, but even now I often ask myself: "Is there someone out there in the space?"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

traveled alone in South America (Brazil, Bolivia, Peru), did a 10 days trekking tour in Ladakh and climbed on two mountains, being over 6.000m high, but the most amazing things I've done were overland bus trips in Bolivia, which can easily end up in a broken wheel, and even be very cold when you are traveling during the night.
