About Me
I'm still on a mission to fish a could.
And to prove that...
... I can travel around and study as long as possible. Now, I'm trying to get a Ph.D. in sociology at Charles University in Prague. My current project is about football migration. I research Brazilian football players in lower divisions across Central Europe.

I can't prove that I'm super cool... But as I was growing up, my mother always has had a "Chaplin's last speech" hanged on the wall. Chaplin's last speech was my first encounter with an anti-authoritarian philosophy. I try to be loyal to it 'till now...
"I'm sorry but I don't want to be an Emperor - that's not my business - I don't want to rule or conquer anyone. I would like to help everyone if possible, Jew, gentile, black man, white. We all want to help one another, human beings are like that.
We all want to live by each other's happiness, not by each other's misery. We don't want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone and the earth is rich and can provide for everyone.
The way of life can be free and beautiful.
But we have lost the way.
Greed has poisoned men's souls - has barricaded the world with hate; has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've host people in Manaus and Natal, and I hope to host some more people in the Czech Republic.
Interests
I've written papers on urban anthropology, feminist theory of cinema, sports, representations of masculinities in Brazilian movies... I guess these could be funny topics to talk about.
But I'm not a rumbling academic; I can talk about other stuff too. I love food; eating is a real passion...
