CURRENT MISSION

I find it funny, but I can never summarize a life mission in a succinct manner, you have to have a conversation with me to find out. But, to put it, perhaps, always learning & always exploring.

ABOUT ME

I live for adventure, nature, love, progress, innovation, design, creativity, good writing, musing, systems, and the people I love.

Also, I am an INTP (myers-briggs, do your personality test at humanmetrics.com). Reading that up might give you a better glimpse of who I am. Too much noise and interaction for a day tires me, and sometimes, I become brutally honest when that happens, and then beat myself up (not literally, please!) for another half a day because I place such ridiculously high expectations of myself.

Sometimes, I need the peace, quiet, and serenity. I'm comfortable with quiet spaces and silences, usually, I quite like it.

Nothing like a good meal with yourself, once in a while.

You can't take everything and anything too seriously, life is too short for that nonsense

If you really want something, the whole world will conspire with you for it.
What goes around, comes around.
Be who you are, and say what you want. Because, the people who matter, don't mind, and the people who mind, don't matter.
No one is smarter than everyone. (This keeps me grounded)

I try to participate in couchsurfing at every location I travel. There's an obsession to know how people in their land behave, think, and do, and you can never get that experience from being a typical tourist.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been good so far.
Hope it stays this way.

Surfed and met people in Connecticut, New York, Oakland, and Montana.

Interests

I like reading; cuddling in bed with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate. Love everything outdoors as well; hiking, jogging, all sorts of sports. Lover of dogs.

Thinks too much for my own good sometimes.

I'm also interested in green technology, education, entrepreneurship, and books.

Music, Movies, and Books

More of a book person. Though movies and music never fails to make me feel better.
What sort of books?
Freakonomics, a short history of nearly everything, the tipping point, outliers, monocle (magazine though, not book)...
Lord of the rings, harry potter, the hobbit, books by louis lowry, the works of edgar allan poe (oh, how much I love his writings!), charles dickens, brave new world..

Apologies of jumping between book titles & authors, good authors always produce good books.
No twilight or fifty shades of grey nonsense here though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snowshoe-d down a snowcapped mountain in a pair of holey climate cool regular pair of Adidas running shoes! - my 2nd hiking experience and I've done so much! That pair of running shoes brought me across sand, mud, water, grass, snow and ice

I take a while to formulate my thoughts and sort out the mess that is in my mind.
But if we do engage in conversation and those thoughts get sorted out, would like to teach, learn, and share about anything and everything.
