i am 35 years old and an easy going person who loves to travel and meet new people from all over the world.

i am from Austria but living in Taiwan together with my wife ChiChi, the woman of my life, my soulpartner.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i love travelling as i already said, but as well i love it to host people. i am openminded and want to get to know different cultures. especially these nobody is going to!
Its good to know there are people who just welcome you to your home to stay in there city/country, without wanting anything in return. It feels good to do the same for other people as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

the first CS i did was in amsterdam at barts place - he is a really nice guy and I meet him from time to time since then.
the second CS experience was with liliana and diego in bogota/colombia also suuuuperbueno!!!
and the third CS was with Marcy & Ricardo also in Bogota ...sooo nice (they are awesome people)....then Manisha in Manizales an
indian lady in colombia with an ex-austrian boyfriend - she was a great experience ...seeing a part of colombia through indian eyes :))
If you ever travel Jamaica I can recommand to get in touch with shelli-ann! She was very kind, unfortunately somehow it didnt work out to meet :(
On our trip to Hawaii we stayed @ Alex' place (I hosted him later in Vienna) in Kihei/Maui and Roberts place in Hilo/BigIsland which we both enjoyed very much!
Unfortunately I couldn't do CS on our latest trip to the Philippines, but we met Clint from Manila;
In Sri Lanka I surfed BENs place in Kandy (Central Sri Lanka). It was one of my greatest CS-experiences. I would say he is a professional Couchsurfer...thanks Ama and Apa and his sisters for the great stay!

HOSTING: I hosted BART from Holland, and AMY&KEVIN from Canada, SIMONE&TREVOR from Oregon US, DEBORAH&PEDRO from Recife in Brazil; ROMANIA&BURAK from Istanbul in Turkey and RAFET&HALIL from Bulgaria; KATY from Canada; LAURA (from Colombia) & FERNANDO (from Mexico) has been my latest guest in Vienna.
I am also hosting a lot of friends I know from outside CS, like Miguel from Portugal, Alex from Peru, Bogdan and Christoffer aka Danesu from Romania, and many more ;)
In Taiwan I have hosted my friends Paul and Thorsten.

Intereses

first of all i am interested in meeting new friends from all over the world. it is amazing how easy people nowadays get in touch.
further interests are diving (i am a PADI divemaster), books, media, festivals, concerts, music, bikes, skiing, snowboarding, chillin, just an easy going simple life without big problems - but still not forgetting a way forward ;)
