First and foremost: I believe in the CS philosophy. I believe in openmindedness, in learning, in cultural differences that should be valued. I believe in being a great host and a great guest. Lastly, I believe that strangers are friends we have yet to meet and I am always eager to make new friends.

One of the things I want most out of life: to see the entire world! I don´t just want to go from place to place, I want to discover things. I want to discover things about myself, about others, about the way the world works, and whatever else there is out there.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started by couchsurfing in Europe while I was studying abroad. I surfed 4 places in 4 months, then I went on a 3 month backpacking trip and surfed the whole time. So now I'm both, couchsurfer and host and I love it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Italy, Spain, Puerto Rico, Holland, Belgium, Greece, Switzerland, France and Ireland and my hosts were amazing!! Now I LOVE being a host and repaying the couch surfing community with some good hospitality.

--Stood at the "End of the World" in Lagos, Portugal where the western world used to stand and say, "there can´t be anything else out there beyond this."

--Went Sky diving

--Backpacked through Italy

--Met former child soldiers in Uganda

--Took a ferry to Morocco

--Played on a women's club futbol team in Spain

--Drank Guinness at the Guinness Factory in Dublin

--Climbed the Eiffel Tower

--Stood at the feet of the 17 foot statue of David in Florence, Italy

--Got held at gun point by a Ugandan soldier while walking across the Nile River

--Jumped from a waterfall in El Yunque Rainforest, Puerto Rico

--Saw Mayan ruins in Cozumel, Mexico

--Drank a Bahama Mamma in Nassau, Bahamas

--Hosted a birthday party for 100 Honduran children

--Camped on a remote island in Northern Canada

--Hopped a fence to sleep in a playground in Sevilla, Spain

--Sat in Christopher Columbus' seat at the dinner table of the monastery he would visit in Huelva, Spain before his voyages

--Squeezed into the Sistine Chapel with hundreds of tourists to see Michelangelo's work

--Held orphaned infants with HIV or AIDS in Soroti, Uganda

--Hiked along the coast and up into the mountains of the Cinque Terre, Italy

--Swam out to sea for hours to go cliff jumping in Lagos, Portugal

--Held up the leaning Tower of Pisa with my own two hands
