About Me

I just bought a house with a friend and it's currently in need of a lot to of my work. The guest space is not fully fleshed out yet so hosting will most likely be on hold for a bit.

My Couchsurfing portrait series since 2015: http://gallery.snapyourself.com/gallery/couchsurfers/home

I'm a conscious person and hyper aware of my surroundings. I spend a lot of time just noticing the world around me. Because of that, I'm constantly watching my emotional and physical impact on others and the environment. I make the choice to live simply and positively. I aim to live radically myself while simultaneously staying radically open to growth and change.

I'm always open to new things and grow enthusiastic to what I believe in. From growing up in LA and having to embrace the melting pot of a multicultural society to going to see live bands in secret warehouses, new age underground wrestling shows, radical self expression side shows, backpacking, camping, cycle touring and creating a space for others to visit and pass through. All of this has formed who I am.

I schedule my weekdays around editing/emailing giving me free time to explore and share time with others while working events on weekends and nights. I photograph pretty much everything but mostly events.

I like to jam out on the guitar, sing, ukulele, piano and bass as well as participate in crafts, write poetry and other forms of expression and connection. I also spend a good time tending to my garden and watching it grow.

I am passionate about not killing and eating animals. Please respect that when in my home. We share lots of meals and keep the house vegan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a pure way to make connections. Vulnerable people come together to share a space. I love the energy it creates in meeting people and traveling. I host a lot because I try to invite that energy in my living space as much as possible. When I travel I seek out hosts as well and have only positive experiences thus far.
