My name is Florence. I am open-minded and definitely a travel-lover!
I come from France and after my university graduation I spent more time abroad than in my native country.
As a profesional translator, I like exploring different countries, lifestyles and cultures. That's why I have been working and living in different places in the world.

At the moment, I am working as a volunteer in a school in Nazca, Peru. I am teaching English and French to my young students (3 to 12 years old). During the summer break (January-February 2025) I would like to travel more in South America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through Couchsurfing, I had the chance to meet great people in different countries. I really like this special way of sharing and I always have good memories afterwards! :)

Interests

WWOOFing: I experienced several times volunteering in organic farms in Europe and I really liked it (making goat cheese, vegetable gardening, vineyard, eco-construction, wool production, etc.). Very inspiring adventures!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a 9-month European Voluntary Service in Estonia (2010-2011). This great experience motivated me to renew the experience and that's how I landed in Peru last year!
