Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION:
Checking my feet before I enter the house ... where have I been, how did I get here? More important though - where am I going...
ABOUT ME:
Activist, freelance photographer and graphic/web designer with a background in corporate information systems. I am not my past, it is a backdrop to what I am and evolve into. I am a social person that brings people together.
PHILOSOPHY:
Life is lived through day to day experiences. How we perceive them is what creates a rich, rewarding and valuable life.
Use your instincts and refrain from over-thinking without discussion. Reality is created by sharing thoughts. Get to the real question - WHAT IS?

Long-term personal CS experience since late 2007. I've been pursuing work/living arrangements involving photography and web development.
My fondest CS trip was to Brazil, staying at an apartment in downtown Sao Paulo with four female students.

I enjoy seeing people come together and celebrate creativity. There are causes in life that are worth putting differences aside and working together for.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Sao Paulo Brasil to meet someone I'd only met online in November 2004. The trip was 21 days. We discussed where I'd stay and I mentioned the hostels - instead she checked with friends and I ended up staying with four college girls at an apartment near MASP. Two knew broken English, but we mostly communicated passing a laptop computer back and forth with a translation program for Portuguese.
After 10 days I moved to staying with my friend's family in Carapicuiba. I had so much fun with family life, visiting the market, and seeing life around the streets.
I have to say the one time I was the most drunk in my life was on that trip, though I've still never thrown up and probably should have that time.
Teach, Learn, Share
Low light photography lessons
1) Stabilize the camera as much as possible, through your stance, breathing, holding camera against a stationary object, use a monopod, or BEST use a tripod with a remote release.
2) Increase the ISO setting up to a point where grain in the photo is suitable to show details desired
3) Anything less than 1/30 second in posed photos, action requires concentration & stillness.
4) Buy the best lens you can afford, lower the minimum F-stop the better
5) Minimize zoom of lens, zoom increases F-stop on most modern lenses
