About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to boldly go where I haven't gone before

ABOUT ME

Im very interested in other languages and cultures and Im always open to new experinces. I want to get to know other people and their cultures as much as seeing their countries. I love to laugh and make other people laugh, life is way to short to pull a face! :)
I am extremly curious, I study physics because I want to know every aspect of a life (ok a bit too ambitiuous, but the will counts, right?), I want to know why we see the world as it is and where we came from, why life just came to happen and why at the end it lead to intelligent life. That curousity drives me to other countries and meet new people. Sometimes in the street I look at people and wonder what their lives look like, what they are thinking right now, if they are thinking about lunch or about someone they love, or about how every day is a miracle by itself! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Fortune favors the Bold
The sentence that probably describes me the best and has sort of been my guiding priniciple since a long time^^

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just moved to a new town in Germany in a shared apartment with two very nice girls and another 3 people in an apartment above us with whom we have a barbecue sometimes or just hang around:) above that is a free room wiht two matresses and a TV where we can host up to two 2 people, while of course spending the morning in our apartment:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive been in Prague in May some years ago, and stayed two days with a friend at a very nice girl via Couchsurfing.

Interests

Space, Oceans, Reading, Biology(Life!;)), movies, sports (and I mean playing, not wathching, I only watch the big tournaments, but I dont follow any team or so, I jut love to play! above all football, also waterpolo, handball, basketball and more), international relations, Philosophy, sometime couple with physics (you'd be amazed how often these to go hand in hand)
I sometimes like to write a few lines, like a short story or a short poem, although I rarely find the time or muse:( I love people playing music, I play the piano myself, althoug rather rudimentary and like above rarely find the muse, but once in a while sit down on my E-piano and goof around a bit^^

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: there are too many and too hard to chose from, but books I have a top list: Tom Robbins' "Skinny legs and all" and "Villa Incognito", Ruiz Zafón's "The Shadow of the wind", Hawkings's "The Universe in a Nutshell" and "The Grand Design", George Orwell's "1984", Suzanne Collins' "Hunger Games", Hermann Hesses' "Narziß und Goldmund".
Music is kind of the same as with movies, but I love Indie and most other Rock music, but also Hip Hop and some Pop if I wheel like just goofing around and dance my heart out;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The ambiguity of tears or emotions in general, how people express emotions and how important it is for us that other people react to us is a beautiful mystery:)
I love to watch natural phenomenons like the stars or the daily sunset/rise, even more so in places void of human touch.
I guess the most amzing thing I've done so far as in what it felt like was jumping out of an airplane^^ flying was always a dream of mine, and hope to be able to do it again soon!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching I guess I tend to seek open mindness and tolerance in other people, and learn of how they think and behave, it always amazes me how different people's brains can work and I love it!!!! :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
