About Me

I am currently just moving around on my two feet or on my bike Uschi. I love to run through all the different landscapes and it has allowed me to explore many fascinating places with their natural beauty and cultures. As nature gives me a lot of joy of life, I have wanted to give something back for a long time. 2 years ago I founded an organisation called Tree-Athlete (www.tree-athlete.org) and for every 100 Kms I run I donate and plant one tree.

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring the nice things of the world which means learning about new cultures meeting new people and exchanging with them and discover new places. And give back more to nature than I take. On a mission to create a positive ecological footprint.

ABOUT ME

Hi there,

I am German born 1987 and I am travelling, studying, working and volunteering around the world. Exploring new culture, people and places is one of my absolute primary passions. I did two Masters, one in Sustainable Development with the University of London (SOAS) and another One in Sports Management. I love getting a better understanding of how the world functions and I could imagine to combine my interests in sports and development issues and try to find some work in the sports and development field. Besides my interest in global social and political movements and I like practising sports and I spend most of my free time outdoors in the nature.

I haven't used couch surfing as much in the last years but I realised during my recent couchsurf experience what a great opportunity it is to meet the most open-minded, friendly, funny and hospitable people.

PHILOSOPHY

If you always make the best out of a situation you will always get the best. Good experiences depend on you and if you are a positive person you will have positive experiences.
