About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling around the world since October 2017 staying one month (more or less) in each place I choose to visit. Me and Victor (who I'm traveling with) have been in more than 35 countries in this trip and we don't have a return day yet. We are showing everything in our Instagram account: @vagamundosargentinos
I work for Argentina as a freelancer, so that'll be my way of financing my trip. Staying for a bit longer will give a sense of discovering more about the city than just the surface and "slow travel" is the way to do it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I honestly believe that the truest way to get to know a country and its culture is through its people, life so far has taught me this and I intend to keep on exploring the world through others

I have hosted many people before but not through this website. Friends from Colombia, Brazil, Russia, France, Germany and some others have lived with me in my apartment in Buenos Aires. Of course you can visit here whenever you want. Feel free to ask and check the pictures of my place.

I have also lived with people China, Japan, Philippines, Ivory Coast. Each one of them an eye-opening experience.

Interests

Well, what I do for a living is translating from English into Spanish and viceversa for a number of companies and acting as a conference interpreter from time to time. Also studying for my MA in International Politics and Economy.

Food for thought.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are probably four experiencies that I'd say were pretty amazing. One was when I lived in Russia for three months working at a primary school teaching English to Russian kids. It was winter and I LOVED it. Then I stayed in Abidjan (Cote d'Ivoire) for three months as well, also working as a teacher (this time for a tertiary school and in French). It was one of the toughest challenges I've had so far. Then, I did the ultimate American roadtrip: one month in a car from NYC to LA and then all the way up to Seattle. I visited a whole lot of cities and got to see the main sights of the country. Last year, I had the chance of living in Paris, where I stayed for five months finishing my master's degree at a French university.
And now the time has come for the most amazing thing so far. I can't wait for what's about to come!
