ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in China. At 19, I encounter my first life turning point by going to study in Canada. Since I've been living and traveling in different continents. I'm deeply grateful that during this journey, my career path came across my passion - cinema. I became a film editor. Chinese culture remains my root, but after more than 10 years living in more than one multicultural cities. I do see myself going beyond my culture and identity, which will be impossible to be defined. Art(with its many forms) is my passion and my home, and I'm living a life full of it.

Any movie that make me thought and feel in a deep way. too long to make a list. directors: Ingmar Bergman, Woody Allen, Andre Tarkovsky, Godard, Terrence Malick, Lynne Ramsay, NWR...I love classical and jazz, as well as tango, bosa nova, indie rock, eletronic and Avant-Garde. Books from all range.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling for four months in a roll from Montreal to Europe and Asia. Making 800 dumplings with friends at a Chinese New Year party at Montreal.
