About Me

"Happiness is the best I can share, and my friends say that I am good at it."
I'm an active person, open and funny who cares about learning. I studied social sciences and a bit of maths. Currently, is am a PhD student who researchs about knowledge NEETs.
I've lived in Santander, Salamanca, Pamplona, Brussels, Berlin and Hamburg but Iwould like to increase this list soon.
I am a very passionate person when I speak about the things that I deeply know. Thus I like to hear other people in order to learn more and more. You could say that I am curious and it is correct, but more about social issues than about personal issues cause before anything I respect people's privacy.
If you don't include my name in the message, I'll know you didn't read this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that it is a very good way to meet new people, to improve my language skills and to discover other cultures and ideas. I do not just want to visit a country as a tourist who takes photographs. I would like to better know the place I am visitng and to give the same opportunity to the people who visit my city.

Interests

...and so many more. It is difficult to say "no" to something new, to knowledge.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock is the kind of music I like, but I do not say no to other styles, from classic to pop including metal.
Indie films are the best. I like those movies that tells you a "real" story, when you feel that it is not the best adventure you could ever have, but something that you could experience. I also love german social films from the 90s till today.
The best book I've read would be Crime and punishment from Dostoiesky if I did not read "Surveiller et punir" de Foucault. I love to read books that give you a deep explanation. I like to understand the reasons behind what happens, therefore I love history books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The summer before I became a legal adult, I did an interrail. I travel with my twin and some friends around Europe during a month. I met a lot of people and we share a lot of stories about life, ideas and hopes. I discover places that I had heard about but I did not really knew. It was amazing , it opened my mind.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about social stuff: from history to philosophy without forgetting about politics and social processes. I know a bit about Science but I am not the expert I would like to be. Finally, thanks to my parents, I can teach Spanish. Maybe I am not the best teacher you could have but I know the language.
I'd like to learn about everything. People and their experience, languages, technology, cooking... maybe music is one thing that I do not try to learn because I do not want to destroy anybody ears.
To share? As I said about me "Happiness is the best I can share, and my friends say that I am good at it."

What I Can Share with Hosts

My passion about knowledge, my experiences, my time and my desire to help. I would like to give hosts a souvenir, a real good memoir, a message written in a stone which says "It was a good idea to host him".
