Well, everything's full of little curiosities and big wonders..but I tend to get caught up with the details of natural phenomena. I love holding leaves up to the sun. I love breathing on humid winter days.

Sometimes I take a break from being amazed by what I experience and live in someone else's perceptions for a while..my favorites include Charles Dickens, Fyodor Dostoevsky, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez and on and on!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Looking up at night on Fire Island...I first got a glimpse of the vast sea of stars constantly above me but too frequently hidden by interfering rays of sun and electric cities.
Watching my nephew grow...I'm still awestruck at some point every day :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some plant identification (especially of urban plants), writing/editing, basic digital photography, & would love to learn more about making things, growing things, cooking things!
