Overview
About Me
Happiness. It's rad.
My wanderlust is insatiable. I've got a love for people and connecting deeply and a love for life and living fully. Barefoot is good.
I've traveled to over 50 countries. Most recently a jaunt through the Caribean and a hunk of time in India teaching at a uni. I was once given $20,000 to circle the globe on an expedition to witness the world's love of fire and the ways fire bonds community (http://fyremynx.blogspot.com/). I'm back in Seattle and ready to meet up and share some fire love and that good couchsurfing karma.
Be good. Love loads. Smile heaps.
ABOUT OUR COUCH
Nathan my partner of 2+ years and I live together in the University District. We have a one bedroom - where you could sleep on our couch or inflatable mattress. Nathan is a robot scientist making prosthetic and penguin scales. He is very good at cooking and sailing. He's happy to try out the couchsurfing experience, which is good, since he's partnered up with an avid couchsurfer. When you contact me, you are asking to surf with us both =)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've made lif- long friends, had a few bumps in the road, and have seen some of the best nooks and crannies of a place, places special to people, not tourist traps, but nooks and crannies of the heart, thanks to Couchsurfing. It is amazing.
Interests
I love fire. I dance and play with fire: flaming Kevlar balls attached to chains hooked on straps slipped over my fingers fly around my body, spinning in random patterns of my own devise. I am a fire spinner :-)
I love my bike. also...DANCING! swimming. surfing. snorkeling. free diving. kayaking. - define who I am, but while I'm far from the warm seas I know so well, dwelling in the mountainous Pacific Northwest I hike, bike, trek, picnic, camp, and otherwise chill. I also love string cheese.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One weekend I bungee jumped, jumped out of a plane at 12,000ft, surfed river rapids on a body board, jetboated and then heli-ed to the mouth of a river and rafted back "home".
