I think life is too sad to watch sad films so in movies I prefer mostly comedies. Books: classical writers (for example, Homer, Aristophanes, Dante, Rabelais, Erasmus Rotterodamus, Moliere, Jane Austen, Bronte; Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Lermontov and so on) and fantasy (J. Tolkien, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, J. Rowling, A. Sapkowski and modern Russian writers).
