About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To marry antiquity with natural science
ABOUT ME
I deal with natural sciences and , antiquity. I appreciate cartoons (in various forms), comic books, drawing, reading (mostly scientific works), etc.
I like an occasional cup of warm tea, dark bitter coffee (or other depending on the occasion) and may propose either of those to CSers that share a drink with me.
I like cats and animals in general (dogs, ducks, etc...), needless to say that I don't enjoy slaughtering them fo consumption. Hence a reason why I have reverted to vegetarianism. Even though, I sometimes eat meat, if I know its provenance.
I am by no means a 'party going' type of person; I am rather the reverse, but can enjoy a drink on occasions if it is not too late...
I appreciate nature, occasional hikes and basic historical sites. (That figures, working to combine antiquity and rock science!)
I am working full-time at the moment; as Saturday afternoon-evenings and Sundays mostly are off, I can receive anyone for a drink, then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Since 2010. And counting...
Interests
Earth and Past studies, cartoons, fiction/ non fiction books (and films), classical or folkloric music...
I tend to enjoy a nice stroll in parks, gardens, and even hikes in the mountains (if time permits). As I like nature and animals, I do sometimes fancy picnicks...
Most importantly, I propose site tours and short trips in areas close to Beirut City, the Lebanese Costline, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
A few, with a few hundred films/books in collection I will need a mile long paper to describe all titles I possess (basically, all of which - to a certain extent - are so-called 'personal favourites')
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are a few in mind, but not knowing what exactly, I may leave this one out.
For now, what I can say is that I saw a Chinese New Year Celebration; that was breathtaking, and by far one of the MOST amazing things I saw during a trip early in 2012 !
