ABOUT ME

My name is Greg, from Southern California. I am a pretty friendly guy. I'm happy and full of excitement for life. I love to learn about the entire world- it's people, cultures, and places. I believe it is our differences which make us beautiful! My goal is to travel the world and meet friends and interesting people who can teach me new ideas and share new experiences that will help me grow and become my best self. In return, hopefully I can do something that will make a difference in the world. I love my family and friends and am always up for making new friends. I love to have fun and be around the water. I'm a Summer person and a Southern California boy for sure. I HATE the cold! LOL! I like to try new food, listen to new music, and experience new things!

In 2012 I married my best friend, Ana Aiono. We have one child who is 2 years old. So we're on a slight break from couch surfing but hope to host again soon!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went couch surfing in France, Italy, and Spain and now, since I just got my own place, it's my turn to host some people until my next big trip!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love it! I've had 6 different hosts when I was on my last trip and all of them were awesome! Very friendly and welcoming and willing to show me their cities!

兴趣

I love the beach and lakes! Swimming, wakeboarding, waterskiing, boating, water polo, anything to do with the water. I like learning other languages and have studied arabic a little. I like learning about religions- maybe someday I'll have a Doctorates of religious studies. I like to learn about History and Cultures. I like having intellectual conversations- not arguements! lol! But I also like to have fun! I love dancing and just being silly or hanging out!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

It was quite a while ago, but I have been to the Peace Museum in Hiroshima, Japan. It was during the spring, and the cherry blossoms along with the rest of the gardens were in bloom and it was incredible. It is amazing to think that such beautiful and reverent place emerged from out of destruction and devastation. It definitely gives you a sense of hope!

I've been reading and learning more about couch surfing and there seems to be lots of references to sharing meals. I'll be honest, I'm not sure that I am the greatest cook- I am, however, the greatest eater! lol! I totally love to try new foods and thoroughly enjoy a home cooked meal if that is something you like to do. In exchange I will either cook for you, or take you out to one of your favorite restaurants! Lol! And if you come out to California, I will have to take you wakeboarding! lol!
