CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to end mental illness. I believe much of what we know of as psychological disorders all started with a communication breakdown an I aim to help people understand themselves better and live better lives as a result.

That's the short version at least... ;)

ABOUT ME

Hi everyone, I'm Gabe (aka G-Money in Louisiana). I'm an amateur professional musician, and I'm a hypnotherapist and hypnosis trainer by day. I love to travel and meet new people, and I love sharing.

Unfortunately right now I don't have a couch to share. The time will come. Until then, I will just maintain this profile and surf couches in the meantime. Give me a shout if you have a good adventure in mind!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to see the world and have friends at every corner of the globe. Sometimes I couch surf if I go somewhere that's best navigated by a local, because nobody knows a city like its locals.. and Kthulu.

I love to cook. I try to make a delicious meal for my hosts and for my guests at least once.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love John Williams, the guy who composed the soundtracks for Indiana Jones, Star Warts, Hook, Jaws etc... I also loved Atlas Shrugged. Don't agree with everything in the ideology. I'm not dogmatic about anything except being non-dogmatic. But the book was great. Sybill - weird book, but insightful. the Iliad, the stories of King Arthur. Just a few of my faves...

I love Jazz, especially from the early 1900's. I play that style of music every saturday.

Teach, Learn, Share

There is one thing I really learned in the last few years, and that is really just how much the human brain is capable of. Wherever I go, it is my mission to further my understanding of how to get to a place where I can reach the potential of my mind, and to help others reach their potentials as well. I will be going to California to learn more about this soon, and then I will update this portion of my profile, in the meantime check this out: think of a person you really enjoy before you meet someone for the first time. Once you do that, RAISE YOUR EYEBROWS at the person you are about to meet, even before you shake hands. All humans do this (except the japanese because it's repressed in their culture as a gesture of sexual intention). The eyebrow raise is a signal to another human being of tribal acceptance. People will feel like they've met you before if you do it right, lol... it works every time..
