ABOUT ME

I'm a mover and a shaker. I cause a stir and piss some people off. I guess you could say I'm provocative? But I spend a lot of time observing. I love intricate and subtle cues from the Universe. I believe in prayer, silent exchanges with no One in particular, just the Universe and what that means to you is fine. I live to see all that I can see. I work to feed that addiction. I feel tied down by things, and fight the urge to accumulate them -- and to abandon the ones I have accumulated every day. I love to write and photograph. I love typography and good beer. I get by on kindness, large kindnesses, because what is a small kindness?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

taking an alaskan cruise by myself, reading thoreau, seeing glaciers and fauna, what i saw, and being alone and knowing that i can do anything, even if i have to do it alone. hiking mt. rainier with a friend. a 5-hour jungle hike in hawaii, swimming upstream, culminating in a 10-foot drop off a waterfall. backpacking europe and seeing 6 countries in 10 days and knowing that id love that to be my life. seeing kylie minogue live in concert. helping to build a multispecialty clinic in the jungle region of guatemala, el peten, knowing that my work there will make an impact on the lives of the people there, surrounded by volcanoes in antigua, guatemala.
