ABOUT ME

I love to learn and I love to travel, and how lucky for me that those two things go so well together and reinforce each other! I travel every chance I get, some would call me a travel junky, I just think I'm restless. I used to CouchSurf a lot more on my travels but recently I've found it difficult to find hosts in Central America. There are a startling number of incomplete profiles compared to when I first started surfing in 2006.

the most important thing for me in life is to create value. It is the only thing we as humans can really create. Matter is only rearranged by our processing, but value is something that interaction and dialogue can truly create! Thus I do my best to create as much value though my interactions as possible.

I'm currently pursuing teaching as my profession. When I return home in April, I will be working at an elementary school again. I will be teaching, and learning simultaneously with my students. I can't wait for this! I love meeting people, and I take ever change I can get to start up a conversation, I think it has something to do with being raised in Boulder, where anyone will talk to you on the street with a smile. I hope to meet you!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In any way that I can! Surfed around the world!!! And when I got home I host over 35 people in 7 months. I love CS and I understand how to host and surf! Meetings are a new passion of mine. My goal is to take part in planning more meetings!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in over 17 countries around the world. I also Hosted over 40 people from all over the world in Boulder, CO.

Interests

Learning from every moment of life. I love nature and using my legs to get me around. Camping is my favorite thing to do on a boring Saturday night. I love beer and having a deep conversation about reality and what life is with almost anyone. Political activism and finding the truth about what the government is really doing to us.

Music, Movies, and Books

Liar Liar, and everything that Jim Carry is in. He is the man!!! I love Boondock Saints and Zeitgeist. Everyone needs to see Zeitgeist because you will never trust anything that the government feeds you after watching it.
I love almost all of Kurt Vonnegut's books, I only say almost becuase I have not read them all. I'm also a big fan of Douglas Adams, the Salmon of Doubt is a great book. I like some classics too, Seneca seems to relate to my experience.
