About Me

Originally born in Lithuania but lived in UK - Richard (13 years) Greta(5). Richard is electrical engineer and last couple years was doing research engineering and making various prototypes and Greta is chemist and was working in analytical chemistry labs. Without our professional side we are engaged ind some form of art and are open minded spiritual people. And at the moment we have a break (possibly long) between jobs. So to develop other part of our personalities we decided to join travelers and do some volunteering work. :) because traveling puts you to a test and finds your weakest spots, and volunteering - helping people gives you a more than you can think about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We just started our way on CS. Favourite thing about CS is that you can actually meet local people, find out their philosophy of life, local culture, exchange experiences and most important SOCIALIZE!
We expect great experience on CS both ways- surfing or hosting.

Interests

Richard:
Music creation, constructing, inventing or building things, or any other creativity, yoga.
Greta: hiking and long walks, nature and birds, meditation and yoga, sacred ancient places, stones and minerals (mad about that), cooking and baking cakes, playing board games, exploring other cultures. I can get interested in something very quickly if it goes with my values of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Richard: I created lots of music that you could listen on soundcloud and you can direct yourself to it via my web page: http://www.dumaz.net/aliases.html

Teach, Learn, Share

Richard can run Rebirthing sessions (form of prana-yoga or conscious breathing) and teach/share composing and music production on Propellerheads Reason.
If you are musician we could do a jam session!!! :)
We could share Lithuanian culture, language and Lithuanian traditional cooking, recommend places to visit in Lithuania or UK.
Willing to learn anything you want to teach us :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good time and talks. Greta could cook or bake something delicious :)
