About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Research for the most powerful(immersive) things of life.

ABOUT ME

I am a fascinated but misunderstood person. As we say in Quebec french, I try living my life at a hundred miles an hour. My strong interest in powerful things of life, such as adventure, arts and friendship is, I guess, something my friends would tell you about me. As a young adult, I always try to go further in my occupations. That is why I get into traveling. From all this, my friends would tell you I am a sensible person, referring to the good and the bad side of this trait. They would tell you about my empathy towards others. I guess most of the people who know me see me as a sort of misunderstood guy. But at the bottom-line, my entourage sees me as a person of integrity, from the bottom of myself.

PHILOSOPHY

Integrity, knowledge and living, that is the path I try to stay on.

Interests

I have a passion for all those things that make you live powerful emotions. First one of these would be sports. Being really active, my wintertime, as my summertime, is spent in the deep forest, where I do skating skiing, running and hiking. These are activities that bring me into another world and that mainly makes me feel good. Hockey, at my neighborhood's skating ring, is also from the things that really grab my attention. I spend a lot of time playing music. I am a lot into punk rock. My discussions with folks is mainly centered around this area of interest. I used to go to a lot of underground music shows, which is a thing a like for the ambiance, the music and because I meet a lot of interesting people from all around my continent. My search of meaning through the arts and culture would be the conclusive thing about my interests. I keep on learning languages and reading things about everything but mostly history and culture. I have a passion for short movies, which is a form of art that is, in my idea, of the most immersive. And of course, I really enjoy reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

Paulo Coelho, Yukio Mishima, Jack Kerouac, Antoine de St-Exupery are my all time favorites. I am mostly into what we call in french ''film de repertoire'', a thing I would translate as a ''arthouse movie'', ''artsy movie'' or ''independent movie''. But short movies are my favorites. I mostly listen to punk rock, but I always appreciate alternative/independent rock and surf music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I crossed the entire state of Maine through the Appalachian trail, a journey that has been, and that still is, one of the most powerful things I've lived in my life. I am still, today, as I am writing these words, fascinated by everything I went through in this journey. Every morning, I tell myself I have to get back on the trail. I am planning, nowadays, to hike the entire appalachians or wether to do any other intense journey, like a pilgrimage. I also like random stories to happen to me. I remember that day when I got into Wilmington(NC) for the first time ever, I was walking towards downtown when a group of marathoners cached up with me from behind. Without thinking, I followed them… till the end of the marathon, where I received a medal for my performance, as I was a random person. This is from the crazy stories of life I like getting into.
