About Me

Hi!
I'm 25 years old and live in New Zealand but am currently travelling around the world.

I just finished my studies last year and was able to save for a 6 month overseas trip.

My current trip includes: South America, Britain, Netherlands, Russia, Mongolia, China, Japan, and Vietnam.

I love meeting new people, exploring new places (especially by walking), trying new food (as long as it's vegan/vegetarian :) ), and art.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the experience of getting to know someone else from that area and culture, particularly as they are more likely to give a richer insight into that place than just the tourist traps.

CS is an exchange of lives for a short time and I really love that opportunity to build friendships and hopefully give back too.

Interests

Painting, drawing, printmaking, walking, hiking, team sports, listening to music, catching up with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Daughter, Rihanna, Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, Avicii, G-Eazy, Bebe Rexha, Ed Sheeran, Kanye, Fifth Harmony (*cringe* - but it's so catchy), REM, Elle King, alt-j, etc. A mix of genres.

Movies: Mamma mia is my favourite, then LOTR

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helping others enjoy their life again as a psychologist.

Travelling around South America recently was amazing, especially Bolivia.

Staying in a ger camp in Mongolia.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I want to get to know you but I won't be hovering around all the time. I'm really independent so if you're busy and have plans I can easily do my own thing.
I'm happy to help out and cook a vegetarian meal or three! I also love baking so deliciousness a real possibility. I don't have a lot of money so can't splurge on gifts but will definitely try to give back in any way I can!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Fiji, France, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Peru, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, United States
