Overview
About Me
I go by Gabby. I'm a wife to Deejay- a musician and my best friend. I'm a puppy mom to two wonderful fur-children named Killer Bee, a chihuahua poodle mix, and Ino, a Labrador retriever. I like to work hard, relax hard, and sleep hard. I'm very easy-going and do my best to see positive in everything I do and experience. I've learned that kindness is key and makes the world a better place. If I can spread just a little bit of kindness throughout my life, I'll feel like I've done the world good.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that making connections is important and that supporting others is one of the best ways to do so. Currently, I'm in the midst of a move so I'm unable to host any new friends at this time.
Interests
I always love some puppy cuddles. Other than that, I've been very interested in learning Special Effects Makeup skills. Mostly I've experimented with gore makeup- blood- yay! I'm also looking into learning old age makeup as well- wrinkles- yay! Its been such a fun experience to learn these new skills in a creative way. I experiment with photography and love close ups of nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love too many movies to name any particular ones. I worked at a movie theater during highschool and my love for film and television grew from there. I like movies that make me think, movies that make me laugh, movies that make me cry, movies that make me scared- all kinds of movies really.
As for books, I've been reading a lot of comics lately. My top picks recently would be Saga, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Jessica Jones. I dedicated a few months of my life to reading the Game of Thrones series last year and was so enthralled.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I asked my husband how to answer this question. His first response was: "Marry me!" On a serious note though, I'm really note sure. His second response was getting two American dogs to China but I don't know if that really counts either.
Teach, Learn, Share
For the past year of my life, I've had the most rewarding experience. I have been an early childhood teacher at an American based preschool called Rompn'Roll while living in China. It has taught me that what I put into this world is what I will get out of it. I have effortlessly been trying to dedicate myself to remaining positive despite the situations I find myself in.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have been trying to pursue kindness in all that I do and that's what I hope to share.
