About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To feel good about the generosity of humanity. And to enjoy being young... in a responsible sort of fashion.
ABOUT ME
As is probably true of everyone on this site, I love to explore, and get dirty, and butcher new languages, and pass on secrets about what's great about where I'm from. I love nerdy physics jokes, campfire songs, and like any good Canadian, I love running and swimming and biking and generally mucking about in the great outdoors. I am also an absolute sucker for home-cooked meals. Gets me every time.
PHILOSOPHY
Never retreat, never explain, never apologize--get the thing done and let them howl!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'll be spending the summer of 2012 in Europe, before leaving for Boston to begin law school in September. I don't have a couch to offer up at this point, but I'm always keen on meeting up for coffee and chatting about life and travels.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with a couple of girlfriends at a host's home in San Francisco, and had a phenomenal time! Topher toured us through the back allies of the city, and showed us the the best places to eat and drink and be merry. This was my first introduction to the CouchSurfing community. Since then, I couched surfed through much of Europe during the summer of 2011, including a wonderful week in Ireland where a friend and I traveled from coast to coast, and had the time of our lives throughout.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've slept in a self-built snow cave on Mt. Seymour in BC. I've flown a 4-seater single engine plane across Canada - Vancouver, B.C. to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can tell you all about camping and hiking and enjoying life in the backyard of British Columbia, and how to go about getting your Private Pilot's license in Canada. I'm also always happy to swap marathon training tips, and I will be forever indebted to the first person who can teach me how to whistle with one's fingers.
