ABOUT ME

Trying to get around, see the world and let others do the same. It gets boring sitting around in one space, and I figure others must get bored, too!

Come visit me in Seattle. I love learning things from other people, whether it's how to cook a new meal or how to unicycle.

PHILOSOPHY

To continue the quoting theme: A theater teacher once told me to "Always accept the offer." A best buddy of mine (and another CS member), Annie Alsheimer, and I tried that out in Vancouver and it worked out beautifully!

ABOUT THE COUCH

I don't really have a couch. It's two big chairs put together (sorry!) in a small studio apartment in downtown Seattle I share with my fun, traveling boyfriend (he's got far more stories than me!). It's a definitely a 1-night kind of place, but you could be welcome to it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has been awesome. Surfed in Israel, Turkey, and have had some great folks stay with me and my fellow-surfer and best friend, Annie Alsheimer a couple years ago. I've been pretty mobile lately, but once I get stapled into an apartment I will try to give back all the generosity of the surfers I have stayed with over the years. :)

Interests

Anything physical. I like to try to go outside my comfort zone, even though it may take some initial convincing. There are few things I don't like, though some random things I feel meh about are meatloaf and stained glass.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now, I'm really into fiction books. But sometimes I really crave those tough intellectual books. Favorite movies include The Producers and The Grand Budapest Hotel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Received a lemon and a kiss on the forehead from an old man after haggling my way in to use a toilet in Israel.
