UPDATE:
I’m an engineer now! I have an awesome job that allows me to travel all over the US. Sometimes I even get to go to Mexico, South America, or Canada. Currently I am in Chile as I write this. -2017

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:
I've been a member for a long time but I rarely use it. However ow that I travel a lot with my job I might start checking it more often. I haven't couchsurfed myself or even hosted, but I do participate in local events in California and enjoy meeting new people that visit my area. In 2011, I introduced a couchsurfer from Russia to Irvine and now she is a great friend; our favorite thing to do was travel in the area, have drinks, and talk about boys. Now we mostly work, have drinks, and talk about our boyfriends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't tried it yet. Except for a few times I stayed on my friends' couches, but I wasn't a member of this site yet :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in the Navy for 6 years.
I helped victims of earthquakes in Haiti in 2010.
I sang the National anthem in front of 2000 people at my engineering school graduation.
I beat Super Mario World.
I aided victims of hurricanes in Florida in 2004.
I can move one eye while keeping the other still.
I'm really good at recognizing voices.

I know how to sing really well and I can help you practice/learn English or Spanish as long as you know a little bit already :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can talk about my time in the US Navy.
I can sing a song and if you know how to play guitar, we have ourselves a jam out session!
I can help your kid with their math homework haha. I used to be a tutor.
I can tell you about 3D laser scanners. It’s part of my job :)
