About Me

I was born in Chicago and have lived my whole life. I have a younger sister who is a red head and I have an older brother too. That makes me the middle. I love music, I've grown up around music. My mom and dad played Queen and Billy Joel and Steve Winwood and Steely Dan. I started playing guitar when I was 17 and have been playing ever since (it's quite a love hate relationship.) I love to read. I love watching movies. My true love right now is acting. I want to be a professional actor one day. I don't know where, or when. Some people say I look like Milo from Atlantis. I took 6 years of French in school, and I'm looking to practice and learn more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an American citizen. I'm studying acting in Chicago. I'm studying abroad this Spring at the Eolia Acting conservatory in Barcelona from February to June. I will be in Paris January 21st and am looking for a welcoming host to invite me to their city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love Bob Dylan that old folksy, deep lyrical songs. I love a little chaotic Jimi Hendrix. Some good Afro-Cuban jazz is nice. NPR has live concerts on YouTube called Tiny Desk. I Love to watch those. I enjoy Anderson Paak. I love Shaky Graves. Ugh I love shaky Graves. I enjoy the Kooks. The Beatles of course.

Movies: Pulp Fiction (enjoy much Quentin Tarantino, though he can be very controversial), There Will Be Blood, Mike Leigh films Naked and Life is Sweet, Moonlight, It 2

Books:
Most recently I read Eat, Pray, Love, but I enjoy autobiography; Malcolm X, Marlon Brando, Jimi Hendrix. (Though I didn't finish any of them, I have trouble finishing books) Catcher in the Rye.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
