About Me

I started an online marketing business about 4 years ago (while I was doing my undergrad) and it's finally to a point where I can work and travel simultaneously.

I'm a relatively introverted person but traveling around has helped me become more comfortable with putting myself out there.

I'm constantly trying to learn more about everything, but I am partial to more science-based subjects.

I'm looking to go back to school for my Master's and I'm currently eyeing several countries in the EU. So if you're from the EU let's talk!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new and interesting people, experience different cultures, and drink some good whiskey.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as music goes my taste varies wildly. I tend to find a song or a band that I really like then listen to them over and over until I get sick of them.
At the moment I'm listening to Halsey, but it's already been about a week since I started so I'm getting sick of her already.

I'm currently reading Thinking Fast & Slow by Daniel Kahneman (Psychologist and Nobel Prize winner in Economics); the book breaks the mind down into two "systems" and discusses the source of biases/mental glitches.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed Mt. Everest. No I haven't.

I've taken an amateur Muay Thai fight.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some striking (Muay Thai and boxing) or grappling (Jiu-Jitsu).
I studied deception detection, so we can talk about that.
I'm very well versed in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTi); a personality system that categorizes people into one of 16 "types".

I do not like to freeload, so I can pay/pitch for food and/or help you clean!
