Overview
About Me
I teach economics and economics history at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Grew up in Tuscany, Italy, and lived in Florence, London and Tuebingen, Germany. I love to travel, my free time and money definitely goes there first. I like meeting people, getting to know new places, and change my point of view. Traveling isn't about the place where I'm going to be, it's about moving a first step out of you comfort zone - and about the company, too :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I see it as a way to meet new people - and to connect to them and the places I'm visiting.
Interests
Many things, from politics and economics to cycling and traveling, music and photography.
Music, Movies, and Books
Oh, that changes quite a lot but so far - and that's also about traveling - Into the Wild (as a book, as a movie and its soundtrack by Eddie Vedder) has a special place.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know if that sounds amazing, but it was to me: I cycled with a friend all the way from Florence to Sarajevo in summer 2011. One of my best journeys to date!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A lot! But I'd start from a chat while having a coffee, a beer or just taking a walk.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom
