Lifelong PNWer and all-around non-terrible gal. Love couchsurfing because it allows me to go and see places I'd otherwise not be able to afford (i.e. everywhere) and because it's a much more gratifying way of experiencing a new place.

Also, I realize I only have a couple references but that's because a lot of the other ones are on my friend's profile when we stayed with a bunch of other hosts but through her account. I swear they're positive!

Both to save money and because travelling is so much more fun when you get to meet people on the way.
